Working with Field Scout over the past couple years has been a privilege, but sometimes photos alone can’t convey the subtle nuances that make a brand memorable. For their Spring/Summer 2013 line, we collaborated with creative director Ryan Hartman during our photo shoot to make a video that would communicate some of the ideas behind the clothing.
In this video, Ryan discusses what has inspired him throughout the process of building an identity with Field Scout and using it as a tool to develop a nonverbal language with his clothing that communicates confidence and independence. Hearing Ryan speak so passionately about his clothing reminds us that every day we spend working towards our creative goals is a day well spent.

We love working with Ryan Hartman and the crew at Field Scout. Last week we did some hustlin’ at Blast Digital Studio and shot the photos for Field Scout’s Spring/Summer 2013 look book. Here are some behind the scenes photos, including a spirited group photo with awkward hovering hands.
Howard was on set this week shooting the Fall 2012 look book for Field Scout, a fashion brand based in Los Angeles. It was a full day of work at Blast Digital Studio, and with the help of a fantastic team we finished 40 shots by the end of the day.
Howard has always had a weakness for Field Scout, so he had to fight hard to suppress his desire to turn the production into an episode of Supermarket Sweep. He spent his time between shots gently pawing the freshly sewn sweaters and jackets with joy in his eyes and a sense of longing in his heart. One day all of Howard’s dreams will come true and he’ll spend his days decked out in Field Scout from head to toe, flying around the world in his private jet with sacks of cash in each arm. Keep the dream alive, Howard.
